campaign, digital, print, social media
Develop a conceptual campaign for #WearOrange that raises awareness for gun violence. #WearOrange is a national movement that overtakes multiple social media sites. The wide scope of #WearOrange in the past had proven successful at getting the facts out there, but a smaller campaign had to go beyond that.
My concept targeted 20-30 year olds in the Syracuse, NY area, where gang and gun violence is a very real issue. Gun violence is a personal, close-to-home problem; it breaks apart families, friends, relationships, and communities. I chose to visually represent the fractures that gun violence creates in a way that would immediately resonate with the viewer.
